Expand allArrive at Paro International Airport where you’ll be greeted and transferred to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. En route, stop at Tamchog Lhakhang Iron Bridge. On arrival, check in to your hotel and later explore Tashichho Dzong and the local market. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
After breakfast, visit Buddha Dordenma Statue, National Memorial Chorten, Folk Heritage Museum, and Changangkha Lhakhang. Later, explore Motithang Takin Preserve (national animal of Bhutan) and shop for handicrafts in the evening. Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Transfer back to Paro. Visit Rinpung Dzong, National Museum (Ta Dzong), and stroll around Paro town. In the evening, explore Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. Overnight stay in Paro.
After an early breakfast, hike to the famous Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) perched on a cliff at 3,120m. The trek offers breathtaking views and is the highlight of Bhutan. After descent, enjoy leisure time in Paro town. Overnight stay in Paro.
After breakfast, transfer to Paro Airport for your return flight with unforgettable memories of Bhutan.
