On arrival at Paro Airport, you will be warmly received and transferred to Thimphu, Bhutan’s charming capital. En route, stop at the historic Tamchog Iron Bridge. Later, visit Buddha Dordenma, a towering golden statue overlooking the valley, and explore Tashichho Dzong, a fortress-monastery that houses the King’s offices. In the evening, stroll through Thimphu’s lively streets and local markets. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

After breakfast, begin sightseeing with a visit to the Memorial Chorten, built in honor of the Third King. Explore the National Library, Folk Heritage Museum, and the School of Arts & Crafts. You’ll also visit Changangkha Monastery, one of Thimphu’s oldest temples. The day ends with a walk through the Craft Bazaar, where you can shop for Bhutanese handicrafts. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Drive towards Punakha, crossing the famous Dochula Pass at 3,100 meters, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the snow-clad Himalayas and see the 108 memorial chortens. On arrival in Punakha, visit the stunning Punakha Dzong, beautifully located at the confluence of the Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers. Later, take a short hike to Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Temple of Fertility. Overnight stay in Punakha.

After breakfast, drive back to Paro. On the way, enjoy beautiful valleys and countryside views. In Paro, explore Rinpung Dzong, an impressive fortress with fascinating history, and visit the National Museum (Ta Dzong), which houses a rich collection of Bhutanese art and artifacts. Stroll around Paro town for local shopping and leisure. Overnight stay in Paro.

This day is reserved for the iconic hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), one of Bhutan’s most sacred sites perched on a cliffside at 3,120 meters. The trek offers breathtaking views and a deep spiritual experience. After descending, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred temples in Bhutan. Return to Paro for an overnight stay.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before being transferred to Paro Airport for your onward journey. Carry home unforgettable memories of the peaceful landscapes, warm hospitality, and cultural richness of Bhutan.
