Today’s journey takes you off the beaten path with a beautiful day trip from Darjeeling to three peaceful Himalayan hamlets. • Takdah: A serene village known for its British-era charm and the famous Orchid Center, where you’ll see rare Himalayan orchids in full bloom. • Tinchuley: Visit Gumba Dara Viewpoint for panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga range, and take a peaceful walk around Tinchuley Monastery. • Lamahatta: Enjoy a refreshing nature walk through pine forests, visit the Lover’s Viewpoint, and relax in the Lamahatta Roadside Garden. A sacred lake nestled in the woods adds spiritual calm to the experience. You’ll also find small food stalls here offering warm snacks—perfect for a light local lunch. Return to Darjeeling in the evening and unwind at your hotel.
